Members, are you willing to volunteer?
Have you ever felt that the MWHA isn't doing enough for you? Have you ever wondered how to be more involved in the MWHA? Do you wish more happened in your part of the state? We'd love your help!
The MWHA is an all-volunteer organization that counts on many of us giving of our time to help all of us enjoy our Tennessee Walkers in many ways. Some of our members put on horse shows; others organize trail rides, clinics, or trail trials. Some have taken on hosting open houses or organizing our presence at the MN Horse Expo. All who've done so have done it for the love of the horse and a desire to share that horse time with each other.
Please - if you've ever wished that something could happen in your area - step up. Offer to host a trail ride at your favorite park. Events can either be formal, sanctioned events like a horse show or they can be a "let's get out together next Sunday and ride" informal event.
Talk to or email a board member if you'd like ideas on how to move forward. We welcome more opportunities to enjoy this special breed of horse.

Volunteer Needs:
Exhibitors/Volunteers for 2012 MN Horse Expo - Members, if you think your TWH is a good representation of the breed, please consider being an advocate for the TWH at the MN State Horse Expo and the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. To complete an application to be selected for this event, please click the link below. All horses attending the expo will be selected by the MWHA Board members. Aside from being an exhibitor, MWHA would also much appreciate help setting up and tearing down the booth, helping our exhibotors get ready to present, and talking to visitors about the TWH breed. Writers for the newsletter - the newsletter is always in need of content. If you are a current paid MWHA member you may submit articles to be put into the newsletters. Many members miss seeing the Member Spotlight articles from past newsletters, if you are interested in writing an article on a buddy member or yourself please let us know. The deadline for article submission is the 15th of every month.
