Join us for a casual weekend of trail riding. Ride on your own or with a group. Join us Saturday night for a potluck supper at 7 pm either in the pavilion (if available) or at the host site (look for the MWHA banner).

Note there is no electric at this campground and no reservations.

Fort Ridgely Trail Ride

All are welcome to ride with us at Fort Ridgely - all breeds welcome! 

Ride on your own or with a group. 

Host site is H7E. We'll be hasting a LUNCH (not a supper). Ride in the morning and we'll gather about 1:00 pm. Lunch is a potluck. Watch this page for what the main dish will be.

All but one campsite has electric hookup and there is water at each as well. Central located shower house and bathroom, and also a dump station. For those without campers, there is a farmhouse to rent there thru the DNR website that does sleep 6. The campground has a few covered box stalls for a fee to use as well. 

Carol Carlson Kirchoff, Merry Kay Bandelin, and Robin Martensen are hosting.

Join us for a casual weekend of trail riding. All breeds welcome! Ride on your own or with a group. Join us Saturday night for a potluck supper at 6:30 pm. We'll have the entree and plates/utensils - bring a side or dessert to share, a chair, and a beverage! Supper will be in the equestrian campground at site 13. Look for the MWHA banner.

Forestville is a state park, so a vehicle pass and trail pass are required. Information about the park and camping reservations are available at http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks/forestville_mystery_cave/index.html

Directions to the park:
Approximately 6 miles south of Wykoff. Entrance to the park is 4 miles south of State Highway 16 on Fillmore County Highway 5, then 2 miles east on Fillmore County 118.
