Rick and Renee Sordahl had a major fire go through their farm earlier this week. Renee was able to get 2 horses loaded into a trailer, opened the other fences, rescued the dogs from the house and had to leave. Due to the fire, they were not allowed to come back until this Wednesday morning, so all night she had no idea if her horses survived. Rick and Renee found them all at home with only a few scrapes and scratches. Pretty amazing animals!
But they suffered a lot of damage at the farm; all of their hay, most of the pasture and major fence lines, two run in sheds for the studs.
Also the fire came within 10 feet of the house on 3 sides and melted the siding causing smoke damage. She doesn't know how the firemen and woman saved the house but they did. Thank you to the fire fighters!
