Join us to learn more about working on your TWH's gait and working with their conformation in a clinic led by two industry experts.
Between the two of these expert clinicians, they have over 30 years of training experience with multiple world championships and 10 World Grand Championships combined, both in-hand and under saddle. They have both started a lot of young horses for show and trail and are avid trail riders themselves.
Clinic topics will include:
Adjusting the gaits
Bitting and headset
Working on gait on the lunge line
The clinic will also include one-on-one with each horse and working with the individual riders’ goals and there will be time for questions and requests.
The clinic will begin with ground work on Form to Function. How conformation affects gait, how Conformation affects in-hand classes.
Instruction on showing in Model and Halter.
Working the gait on the lunge line.
Getting the horse to give to the bit from the ground.
Work on headset and rounding.
Each participant is strongly encouraged to submit a question or problem ahead of time, that you would like to have help with.
Next, each participant will work individually with the clinicians approximately ½ hr increments. Questions or requests are encouraged.
The second day the participant may advance with the same horse, or begin with a second horse.
A barbeque is planned for Saturday night.
